Abraham Accords 2020

The Abraham Accords, which were signed at the White House on Sept. 15, 2020, during the first Trump administration, aimed to defuse tensions in the Middle East by normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab nations. The U.S.-brokered accords led to Israeli peace agreements with Bahrain, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates. The accords involved the establishment of diplomatic relations, exchange of ambassadors, and potential for wider cooperation on defense, tourism, and trade.
