Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances

The Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances is a WIPO treaty that grants intellectual property rights to performers in their audiovisual works, such as movies and television shows. Adopted in 2012, the treaty aims to ensure performers receive fair compensation for their work and entered into force in 2020.
