
Dutch PM Mark Rutte set to become NATO chief after lining up support
The outgoing Dutch prime minister is tipped to replace Jens Stoltenberg, who will step aside at a summit next month.
The Bucharest Nine is a group of nine NATO nations in Eastern Europe. The group was formed in 2015 to coordinate a response to Russia's aggression and to reinforce NATO's eastern flank. The members are Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.
