Methane cuts urged as cheaper climate path
A new U.N. report recommended methane emissions cuts as the most efficient way of preventing another 0.3 degrees Celsius of global warming.
The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is a voluntary partnership of governments and organizations working to reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) like methane and black carbon. The coalition focuses on these pollutants because they have a powerful warming effect but a short lifespan, so reducing them can have a rapid impact on global warming.
