Charter of Paris for a New Europe

The Charter of Paris for a New Europe is a historic document signed at the Conference for Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) summit in 1990. It formally ended the Cold War by committing all European countries (except Albania), the U.S., and Canada to a new era of democracy, peace, and human rights.
