Convention on the Safety of U.N. Personnel

The Convention on the Safety of U.N. and Associated Personnel (CSUNAP) is a 1994 U.N. treaty that protects those serving in peacekeeping and humanitarian operations. The convention requires nations to make attacks against U.N. personnel a crime under their domestic laws and obligates them to either prosecute or extradite suspects.
