The E.U.-U.S. Data Privacy Framework is the legal framework that enables the transfer of personal data from the E.U. to the U.S.. It is the third attempt to establish such a framework, following the invalidation of the Safe Harbor and Privacy Shield agreements by the European Court of Justice.
