Event Horizon Telescope (EHT)

The Event Horizon Telescope is a global scientific collaboration that links radio telescopes around the world to create a virtual, Earth-sized telescope. The EHT famously captured the first-ever image of a black hole in 2019, specifically the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy M87.
