Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI)

The Global Polio Eradication Initiative is a public-private partnership of national governments, the WHO, and other key organizations. Since its launch in 1988, it has helped reduce the global incidence of polio by more than 99%, preventing an estimated 20 million cases of paralysis.
