The Conference of the Contracting Parties to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands is the main decision-making body of the Ramsar Convention, an international treaty for the conservation of wetlands. A key feature of the convention is the "List of Wetlands of International Importance," with over 2,500 designated sites, known as Ramsar Sites, worldwide.
