Zoonomia Project reveals genetic blueprint of 240 species of mammals
The collaboration found parts of genomes remained the same for all mammalian species over millions of years of evolution.
The Zoonomia Project is a scientific collaboration that sequences and analyzes the genomes of hundreds of different mammal species. The project has sequenced the genomes of more than 240 mammal species to understand the genetic basis of human diseases by identifying regions of the genome that are conserved.
