The African Space Agency is a specialized agency of the A.U. established to coordinate Africa's space ambitions and promote cooperation among nations. Its main objective is to harness space science and technology for the continent's socio-economic development. The agency was officially inaugurated in April 2025 at its headquarters in Egypt.
