Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS)

The Alliance of Small Island States is a coalition of 44 small island and low-lying coastal nations. The group has been a strong voice in U.N. climate negotiations since 1990 and was instrumental in getting a 1.5° C. temperature target included in the Paris Agreement.
