A.U. Convention on Corruption

The A.U. Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption is a treaty that provides a legal framework for African nations to fight corruption. The convention, adopted in 2003 and entered into force in 2006, establishes an African anti-corruption body and requires signatory nations to criminalize a wide range of corrupt acts.
