
Counterterrorism forum taking the fight online to become independent
A global task force to fight online extremism announced it will become an independent watchdog organization.
The Christchurch Call is a political summit and non-binding agreement launched in May 2019 to stop the spread of terrorist and violent extremist content online. The call is supported by dozens of countries and major technology companies, who have committed to working together to eliminate such content.
