European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF)

The European Anti-Fraud Office is an independent body of the E.U. responsible for investigating fraud, corruption, and other illegal activities that affect the E.U.'s financial interests. While it conducts its own investigations, it does not have the power to bring criminal charges and instead refers its findings to national authorities.
