GENEVA (AN) — Dr. David Nabarro, the distinguished British physician who advised two United Nations secretaries general and served as a special envoy for the World Health Organization during the COVID-19 pandemic, has died.

He passed away suddenly on Friday, at the age of 75, in his home at Ferney-Voltaire, France, a suburb of Geneva. A cause of death was not immediately released by the 4SD Foundation, the consulting group he co-founded.
