
Poll finds wide agreement on 'climate emergency'
A U.N. survey found 64% of 1.2 million people polled in 50 nations — all of them video gamers — called climate change a global emergency.
The Alliance of World Scientists is an organization of scientists from over 160 nations who are committed to raising awareness about threats to humanity and the planet. Known for its "World Scientists' Warning to Humanity" papers, the alliance's 2024 report on planetary vital signs received over 16,000 signatories.
