Black Sea Grain Initiative

The Black Sea Grain Initiative was an agreement to ensure the safe export of grain and foodstuffs from three of Ukraine's ports. Signed in July 2022 by Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and the U.N., it was a critical step in addressing the global food crisis before it expired in July 2023.
