CARICOM is an acronym for the Caribbean Community, an intergovernmental organization of 15 Caribbean nations. Established by the 1973 Treaty of Chaguaramas, its mission is to promote economic integration, coordinate foreign policy, and enhance social and cultural cooperation among its members.
