The A.U.-E.U. Innovation Agenda is a joint initiative by the African Union and the E.U. to boost research and innovation cooperation. Formally adopted in 2023, the agenda focuses on strengthening African and European innovation to drive sustainable and inclusive growth. As a flagship of the Global Gateway Africa-Europe Investment Package, it aims to mobilize up to €150 billion in investments to support Africa's public health, green energy, digital technology and science capacities.
