The global push for climate resilience hit a new milestone with 60% of all countries reporting the adoption of a multi-hazard early warning system.

Some 119 nations now have a coordinated system to warn residents about impending natural dangers, the U.N.'s disaster and weather agencies reported on Wednesday at the COP30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil.
