Global Compact on Refugees

The Global Compact on Refugees is a non-binding international agreement that provides a framework to improve the worldwide response to refugees and host communities. Built on the 1951 Refugee Convention, it was affirmed by the U.N. General Assembly in 2018 as a way to promote a more equitable and predictable international response to refugee situations.
