U.N. chief: Structural reform in the works, but members need to pay up

WASHINGTON (AN) – Addressing the future of the United Nations, Secretary-General António Guterres warned these "are times of peril" as he called for major structural reform to keep the financially strapped organization functioning and relevant.

The world body is struggling with U.S. President Donald Trump's 'America First' administration relentlessly attacking the norms of global cooperation while slashing vital U.S. foreign aid.
