ICJ finishes public hearings into Israeli obligations on Gaza aid

The International Court of Justice held a week of public hearings to examine Israel’s obligations in the full-blown humanitarian crisis engulfing Gaza.

The United Nations' top court wrapped up public hearings in its chambers at The Hague, Netherlands, on Friday, in response to the U.N. General Assembly's request for a legal opinion. Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, Israel's aid blockages have left Palestinians severely lacking food, water, fuel and medicine.
