Global Compact for Migration

The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is the first comprehensive intergovernmental agreement on international migration, prepared under the auspices of the U.N. As a non-legally binding cooperative framework, the compact was approved by the U.N. General Assembly in 2018 and provides a set of 23 objectives to improve migration governance.
